Hey all you curvy divas..

I wanted to discuss and give you some ideas as to how you can layer your clothes with shrugs to look fashionable and fabulous!

It’s a new year.. and the begin of new fashion and trends and Layering of clothes is definitely in fashion.

I am going to talk about summer shrugs and not the warm ones.

I follow the 3 layer formula… The first two layers being your basic Top & Bottom. The 3^rd layer is the one we need to figure out that adds character to your outfit and can be achieved by adding a jacket, shrug, stole, statement neckpiece etc.

Lets take you through some pictures to explain better

This is a bodycon dress I am wearing.. surely not that flattering isn’t it?

Lets add a shrug to the pout fit.. Bang On! Exactly what you need.

I am wearing this kurta with leggings and being fitted, it does not look good on me.. now adding a long waterfall shrug.. and there.. don’t you think it looks much better now.

Now this basic black kurta.. it is also little old style.. but adding a shrug had made a difference surely

Now this party wear kurta.. you can either add a stole or dupatta.. but again that is too old style.. lets add a benarasi bolero shrug to it.. wow.. isn’t it gorgeous and definitely looks more stylish.

Another way of layering is adding a statement neckpc..

Adding a shrug to your outfit also helps for curvy ladies as it cuts your body and gives a leaner look.
